About Diesel Daydreamer:

Enjoy the best design and functions, offered with a personal touch

Based in a seaside town in West Sussex, England, Diesel Daydreamer produces inspiring pieces on his machines to bring imagination to life and offer practical pieces to solve some of life’s niggling issues.

A few things Diesel Daydreamer is great at

besides growing a beard and drinking coffee.

The personal touch

I treat every customer as if they are my only customer. Your order is as important to me as it is to you, and I treat what I make for you as if it is my own.

Getting the look right

For cosplayers and those that are just displayers, I know that image is everything.

Finding solutions

Sometimes what people need just doesn’t exist yet. That thing that they need just isn’t there, until I walk into the room.

The back story

The Secret of Success

Diesel Daydreamer didn’t start out 3D printing. Diesel was just a gamer tag for meeting up with friends in the evenings after work or over weekends. It was just a fantasy alter ego.

Then came the first 3D printer. It made game characters come to life on the table top. Once I could see a character, that I made, it was only a matter of time until the character became life size. A promise made to my son birthed the first life size wearable suit of armour for him to wear to a fancy dress ball. The ball that got the ball rolling, so to speak.

Models

Printing models for tabletop gaming and display gave me my first taste of 3D printing.

Random things

Soap dishes, toothbrush stands, charging docks, pet reptile hides. These things came next as I discovered practical 3D printing.

Cosplay

Science fiction characters and fancy dress balls were a match made in heaven for my developing printing skills. A space marine came to life as my teenage son wore a full suit of armour one night.

Car parts

My car broke down due to rain water getting inside some expensive electronics. There was no protective cover available on the market, so I designed and printed one. It became so popular that I had to officially form a company. DD3D was born.
