Description

This is an aftermarket 3D printed ECU cover for a VW Touareg, the 7L (mk1) platform.

It’s my own design originally made for my own Q7 and this is a slight variation to accommodate the VW.

Originally a LOT of other Q7 owners had requested it and a Touareg owner, so here it is folks. Over 100 covers sold to five countries.

It will work for all engine variants and has been fitted to Q7’s with the 3l V6’s all the way to the 6l V12’s and a Touareg with a V6.

Printed from PETG filament it is UV resistant and can withstand exposure to chemicals, the heat at the ECU location and most importantly, the water it has to divert away from the ECU.

Easy to fit: it simply slides over the ECU and is held in place by the scuttle panel cover.

Why fit an ECU cover?

The ECU sits in an area where it can be exposed to water entering the engine bay. Damage to this important electronic component can be inconvenient and expensive.
